John F. Kennedy International Airport and International Travelers
John F. Kennedy International Airport is among the busiest airports in the United States, and is top-ranking for international passengers. The airport currently has four international passenger terminals, with Terminal 4 as the major gateway. International travelers should plan to arrive at JFK Airport a minimum of two (2) hours before their departure. This means being at the airport check-in area at least 2 hours prior, however it is always a good idea to allow more time.
Getting Around the Airport
AirTrain JFK is a light-rail service that connects JFK with the Long Island Rail Road and New York City subway and bus lines. It provides fast, free connections between terminals, rental car facilities, hotel shuttle areas and the parking lots, which offer more than 15,000 parking spaces.
